Golf Course – Are you doing your part with your cart?
With the golf course in the best shape it’s ever been, along with this hot, dry stretch, it is imperative that you are parking your golf carts in the correct locations. Keeping your cart on the path near all tees and greens and HOLE #11 not only sets a good example for others, it helps keep the ground healthy in areas that receive very little water. Those 3 or 4 extra steps you may have to take will make a world of difference in the longevity of the turf and the looks of your golf course. Just as important as raking bunkers, replacing divots, and fixing ball marks, keeping your cart on the path around all tees and greens allows us all to adhere to golf’s #1 etiquette rule – always leave the golf course in better condition than you find it.
As a reminder, non member in county guest (out of county guest are welcome anytime) are allowed at the pool three times per year. Your membership is valuable and to allow the in county guest to attend frequently does your membership a disservice. Students in the grades from K-12 can obtain a membership for a very nominal fee and family social and pool memberships are very reasonable . If you know a young person that would like a membership please have them come by the proshop.
